Good to Go

This will be my last post from Vietnam. We can't wait to come home but we are also sad to leave. It has been one of the best experiences in all of our lives and we don't want to leave it all behind but I know there are many more memories to make as a family.

Today was our VISA interview and it went fine. I was pretty nervous because I knew we could not take Anna home unless she got her VISA. Dean signed some papers, we paid our money, and two hours later we had a VISA. Pretty simple. Now all we have to do is make it through the trip home.

To celebrate, we went to Highlands Coffee which seems to be the Starbucks of Vietnam. Allie has been wanting to try it all week. It was pretty good. Then we went on our last trip to the old quarter and out for pizza. It was a good day, except the getting lost and wandering the streets of Hanoi looking for the restaurant. We have gotten really brave about crossing the streets. You just start walking and look straight ahead, no eye contact or they will sense your fear. You just keep walking and they will go around you.

Tomorrow we check out at one so we will be packing all morning and then hanging out in the hotel shopping center until 4 and then on to the airport!

Thanks to all of you who followed along on our journey. It meant the world to know you all were there praying for us and cheering us on. Can't wait to see you all!!

YEAH! Only 43 hours till your arrival, but who's counting? When you return years down the road to show Anna part of her heritage, I want to tag along. Looks like a very interesting place to visit. McDuff can stay with Dan. See you now in 42 hours and 59 minutes. Love Ya!

What a trip!! We know that we've only gotten to see a glimpse of your time in Vietnam, and we look forward to hearing and seeing even more when you return. Thank you for allowing all of us to partake in the smallest of ways through photos, stories, and videos as Anna Grace joined your family during the past few weeks. Love has taken everyone in.

Thank you for the time and energy you have put into your blog. It has been such a joy being a part of this special journey. I was touched deeply with all the words from your heart and the wonderful pictures. Your family is so very special. Praise God that all things came together - and that you have been so richly blessed!
Love you,
Susie

Congratulations again, and we are looking forward to hearing you have arrived home safe and sound. Also, can't wait to see you in August (it will be here before we know it!).
