When Love Takes You In

Today marks one week since we made the long ride to Anna's orphanage to bring her home. I can't even begin to describe the feeling as we drove up the road leading to the orphanage. There were so many people walking around and I kept thinking about her birth family, wondering if they lived close by. I felt so excited to meet her. I felt so glad she would be ours yet so sad for the woman who found it necessary to leave her. I don't understand how God works sometimes but I believe all things work together for good in His plan. I believe He brought us together for a purpose and we are so grateful He did.

In honor of this day, Dean made a video with the weeks highlights. Hope you enjoy it!

I started watching the video by myself, but when you showed the gate at the orphanage, I had to go out and watch the rest w/ Debbie cause I didn't want to cry by myself.

Dean, what a beautiful and vivid video. I am so glad you guys have captured these memories and shared them with us.
